B.C. Government Cracks Down on Unlicensed Vancouver Cannabis Dispensaries

The B.C. government’s Neighborhood Security Unit (CSU) raided the Health-related Cannabis Society shop at 1182 Thurlow Street just right after 10 a.m. on October 30 with Vancouver Police Division (VPD) officers in tow to hold the peace.

Society director Dana Larsen told Company in Vancouver that the raid came without the need of warning and took close to two hours. It involved CSU officials hauling items off shelves without the need of performing any formal inventory of what they have been taking, he mentioned.

Larsen is shocked that the shop was raided provided that his shop has a improvement permit from the city and has applied for a provincial license to sell cannabis.
